The Channing Division of Network Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is looking for an exceptional postdoctoral fellow to advance research in respiratory disease, with a focus on bioinformatics and integrative genomics, including single cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and somatic mutations in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), under the supervision of the PI, Dr. Jeong Yun.

The fellow will work on one of several projects including the generation and analysis of single cell multiomic and spatial transcriptomic data from lung tissue samples, with corresponding clinical, imaging, histology, and whole genome sequencing data, as well as blood single cell RNA-seq from human patients. In addition, there are opportunities to be involved in functional validation with murine and cell culture models. Fellows will work with an interdisciplinary team, consisting of laboratory technicians and scientists, geneticists and genetic epidemiologists, biostatisticians, computational biologists, and translational scientists and clinicians.
